The best deals from the biggest brands!
The festive season is upon us, and with it an unending supply of deals. Every brand that’s worth anything – and even some that aren’t – is offering deals on everything they sell. These deals can include everything from minor price drops to huge discounts, free accessories, and the usual assortment of instant bank discounts, cashbacks, and no-cost EMIs. Today we’re going to sift through all the noise by focusing only on prominent mobile phone brands and the deals that they’re offering or likely to offer this festive season.
Apple
Apple has announced that it will be participating in festive season sales by offering discounts, 3 months of Apple Music for free on making any purchase, and free engravings for new purchases. Apple hasn’t yet shared details about the sale, but judging by past sales, we should expect significant discounts on older iPhones and accessories, but nothing notable on the newly launched iPhone 16 lineup.
OnePlus
With OnePlus, one can expect deals on literally everything they sell, not to mention contests, flash sales, and tonnes of freebies. The OnePlus 12 has dropped to Rs 55,999, the 12R to Rs 34,999, and the Nord CE4 to just Rs 21,499. There’s also a OnePlus Festival Sale Contest running on the OnePlus India site. Prizes include the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. You’ll find deals at all major retailers as well, including Croma.
Samsung
Samsung is currently running the Fab Grab Fest. This sale includes steep discounts across the Samsung portfolio and not just on phones. The company has also listed huge instant bank discounts going up to 22.5 per cent, not to mention 24 months of no-cost EMI. The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra, for example, is available with an instant bank discount of up to Rs 12,000 while the price of the Z Fold 6 drops to Rs 1,49,999 from Rs 1,64,999. Other phones such as the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G are available at 17 per cent off.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi’s festive sale – dubbed Super Saver Sale – sees at least Rs 5,000 off on popular smartphones. The Redmi 13 is going for Rs 12,998 while the Redmi Note 13 5G drops to Rs 15,499. The flagship Xiaomi 14 CIVI drops to just Rs 39,997 and even supports an exchange bonus. Discounts aside, you’ll also find coupons that can shave anywhere from Rs 200 to Rs 1,299 off your purchase. These can be found at the bottom of Xiaomi’s home page.
Realme
Realme’s Festive Days sale sees significant discounts across the board as well. Prices of top models have dropped by at least 22 per cent. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G is now listed at Rs 19,999, the Realme 13 Pro+ at Rs 27,999, the Narzo 70x at Rs 10,749, and more. Many phones are expected to be listed at up to 50 per cent off (inclusive of all deals). One may also see a great deal on older Realme mobile phones such as the Realme 11 Pro. Lastly, contests are offering up to Rs 10,000 off via coupons.
Misc. deals
While Vivo hasn’t listed anything officially on its site, it is participating in sales by all major retailers. You’ll find phones like the Vivo X100 going for under Rs 60,000, while the Vivo V40 Pro 5G is available for Rs 44,999 on Croma.
Vivo’s sister brand Oppo is offering similar deals. These include up to 14 per cent off, no cost EMIs for up to 12 months, coupons worth up to Rs 3,750 for new members, and so on.
The festive season is a great time to plan your smartphone upgrade. Everyone is offering deals and heavy cashbacks, making this the perfect time to splurge a little. As always, spend responsibly and don’t get caught up with the deals. We’d also suggest planning your purchases in advance and shopping for the best deals on sites like Croma.
